ot, heart forum needs support.

I agree the heart forum and the Sjogrens forums are low for replies and help. I could help with kids heart issues as my daughter has a congential heart defect.
But, it seems its more adult issues...

Not many people have Sjogren's, so not too many members that post there. It does have two active moderators and we reply to every post. Sometimes I don't reply if you've already done so, Chartreux, simply because I don't have anything to add. Trust me, the forum gets checked multiple times a day.

Sorry to read you emailed moderator about the Heart forum months ago, HT, and didn't get a reply. Is it possible that since your email address is from Australia that it would automatically go to admin's spam folder? I know his response time is much slower than it used to be, but I'm really surprised you didn't get a response. If you are still interested, I can send in a recommendation for you - send me an email if you want that.

It was just a random idea, trying to brainstorm why you didn't get a response. Like many of my random ideas, probably not worth much!

Lynnwood your right about the sjogren's, I was just trying to point out it was in active because of people not posting there, not to point out it didn't have mods, because the mods there are great, kinda that the heart forum is also in active because few people posts there, so even if it did have mods it still might be low turn out, people have to particapate (Sp?) or it becomes kinda inactive.
Sorry it was not a knock to the mods, my fault for not explaining better...
THT, if more people posted in the Heart forum, them maybe the the founder would assign another moderator, but even if mods are active the forum might not be, I will try to peek in and if People posts something I will try...it would be nice if all the forums on here were more active

yes I agree, regardless if it has a mod or not it might be still be slow, I was just trying to show some initiative. I am glad that we can discuss this a little, with slow forums and such, it shows the community cares a little. and that I care. that's all.

my apologies to all people for venting. have advised Karen that I have. (vented) and she will either edit, delete or lock the thread. as may trina.

Sometimes I think heart problems also also discussed on other forums, like a drawback to RA is that it can also cause heart problems, but then that is discussed in the RA forum. RA effects a lot of organs, even the heart. and I think maybe even lupus can too...So there is that as well...
Maybe the heart forum will get active again, sometimes it is...
