Took Alley to the Vet at 8:30a She has now internal infection and the skirts have stopped, however her left eye is infected so on medication for a week. These dogs. Always on some med.

Today I found a highly recommend Neurologist who is in the Kenny Health Center 20min from me. Oct 5 9am hoping for a cancellation and being bumped up.

All is reviews were good, he is a chairman on a board.
He does medication management, and pain management for
neuro issues.

All ready call Jefferson Univ for my records. Waiting for a call back for Medical Records.

Trina--Glad you got an appointment. I usually give doctors three tries and then I leave. It is gorgeous here as well!!

Joyce--Ya know, that is the hard thing. Diet or enjoy? Finding the happy medium is hard--my theory is as long as you accept the ramifications. it's your choice.

UA- Funding things are no fun--but dates and visiting friends are good.

So, this weekend I harvested hot peppers,and cut them up and froze them. I washed my hands multiple times, but couldn't get rid of the burn. I washed the knife and cutting board--but still had watermelon tasting of hot peppers. Everything was throbbing for about twelve hours--still tingly the next morning.

Last night I made a gluten-free, vegetarian meal--with locally grown everything--we have really been eating carbs recently. It was very good--but,boy, it takes a lot of time and planning to cook that way.

Myself...not sure if this 'suggestion' will help...but washing with a good amount of kitchen salt has removed aroma from my hands in the past.

I only put out birdseed when nature offers little. Just now, the birds are enjoying the sunflowers growing in abundance around my home. I also grow purple cone flowers and black eyed susan. I have Virginia creeper vine which produces berries that the birds like, too. Last year I planted a pyracanthus bush which has berries along the branches that will be turning orange for fall and also provides food for some birds.

In winter, I hang birdseed bells and suet cakes. I have a steady stream of chickadees, cardinals and tufted titmouse birds all winter.

Just as important as food is a source of clean water! No matter what the season. Many birds are attracted to the sound of running/moving water. Some birds like still water that they can dip into, others like a spray to 'shower' in. Heaters and misters can be found at bird stores.

Birds don't like to nest in trees or bushes that have too much space between branches. They prefer denser growth. Don't clean everything up in the spring...leave some nest building material for the birds. Even lint from the dryer filter will be used by them, just hang it in some branches for them to whisk away.

If you decide to offer bird houses, make sure they are constructed so they can be opened and cleaned out annually.

I received a CD with the results of my CT scans. Lungs, abdominal area, and colon. Oh my, but those things are revealing. The viewing program they give you is pretty cool, it allows you to play all the individual x-ray slices as a video. I was wondering what weird organ was manifesting on the bottom of the screen, and soon enough I realized it was my organ. I promptly showed the screenshot to Mrs. F27 and we laughed and laughed and laughed.

Hi. In that last thread of mine, what was that member talking about when he/she said that manipulating people irks the will out of them and that I 'enjoy' my grievances. I've not been manipulating anything. Sorry if my honesty bothered them.

With due respect, Turtle, I think what Peter was asking for was clarification on your comment, nothing more. His misinterpretation is yours to clarify, not his to guess at.

Peter, I’m sorry for taking the piss in your previous thread. Often it’s difficult for me to differentiate blunt honesty with trolling, and frankly, if NiceCupOfTea hadn’t clued me into your autism, I’d probably still think you were a troll. Like I said though, that was my shortcoming, not yours. You and I view the world through different lenses, but I really am happy for the opportunity to see life through your eyes. Who knows? Maybe you and I can help each other with fresh perspectives on our problems.

Anyway, maybe we should start another thread to continue this conversation. I’d like to get to know you better. Let me know what you think.
