Good evening, or should I say early morning, to all! I have joined this community in the hopes of finding support & guidance as I navigate the journey of this illness we here are all too familiar with. I am hoping to connect with all of you and provide a mutually supportive environment where we can discuss our experiences, emotions, and journey together. I look forward to providing help and reassurance, as well as receiving it. In order to keep up a positive introduction, I will not go into details of my current state of emotions, but I am optimistic and grateful to have the opportunity to connect with you all. Thank you. Sending love and hope to all of you!

depression is a terrible illness. as you know, it demotivates you and tells you to continue to be depressed. that said, I am very glad that you have taken a stand against it and doing what you can to fight this illness. I believe you have passed the biggest hurdle which is to admit that you have it and to seek treatment for it. I wish you good luck on this journey. the people on this forum are so knowledgeable, supportive, and kind. they are much better than I at giving you advice, but I just wanted to respond so that you can continue to feel encouraged.

Thank you so much for the kind words and encouragement, ilovepuppies and getting by! It feels nice to hear that there are others out there who can give support and compassion. As I learn my way around this site, I feel welcomed already. Thank you. smilewinkgrin
