The days are short here too. Getting dark early, when time goes back an hour it will be dark and five and six in the evening. Get that vitamin D3 in your system, it really does help.

Hi Jamie, Karen....thanks for thinking of me.

Seems like all my physical problems have ganged up at the same time.. Side effects of conditions have gotten to me. Can't breath, can't walk, can't eat ...so forth and so on.
Hope 'stuff' settles down soon. In the mean time, please understand my absence. ~ Joyce

Very interesting about how the 1985 movie, "Back to the Future," came about.

I saw that on TV, and the star (Michael Fox) met his mother and father before they were married, as he went back in time.

Int. that the writer saw his dad's picture from an annual, and wondered if he would have been friends with him. And from that, an entire movie developed.

It earned $210 million.

Speaking of grandchildren, which you forced me to do pitmom, I was going to spare you, my son's birthday was Saturday, and his wife and my two grandchildren (5 and 7) came by.

My daughter in law thinks I haven't done enough for my grandchildren, but because of a sound condition, I can't get be around sound, I can't do a lot of that anymore.

But Saturday, I broke though the barrier and bought a trampoline for the kids, and had it put up and surprised them with it when they got here Saturday.

And my daughter in law took movies of it and sent them to me on my e-mail. Who says you can't improve?

And now, it's time to go watch either the Cleveland Indians or the Chicago Cubs, neither of whom have won the World Series in a long time, play in the playoffs on TV.

Cancelled my epidural injections Friday...can't stop coughing.

Must call p.c.p. today for this sinus/bronchial thing.

Good news is, I'm smoking less!

Saw the P.A. yesterday. Am now on Augmentin and Ventolin. Continuing with Mucinex as well.

Surgery center called me this morning...evidently the doctors' office never told them I was sick and had to cancel. Geez.

Hello everyone.

I was battling the ol' blues pretty hard for a while, spent 3-4 days mostly in bed, but I got things turned around yesterday and am feeling much better. As usual, I don't know why I took the nosedive, and also don't know why I snapped out of it.
Feels good to be up and on my feet, and although the weather is getting cold, I also know I am getting closer to seeing the rhuematologist. Keepin' the proverbial cup half-ful.

Ugh. Woke up in a funk. Maybe from too much sugar yesterday? I have a real problem with candy corn this time of year.

I think Facebook is bad for people with depression. I see my friends are out camping, or canoeing, or leaf-watching, and NONE of them invited me.

Crisp, sunny, beautiful and 55°F -- and here I am in a funk. Like my father has always said, "Do something, even if it's wrong". I will drag myself out and do something and probably feel better -- or at least forget I feel bad!

Here I am looking for consolation from doing wrong.

I was trying to be nice and supportive to someone [who is from group] known him 3yrs. On FB he, lets say a blank screen war hero and his friends are patriotic verbal abusers.

That being said, I was shocked by something he posted and I responded, including this passage "he is a bigger assh...than both our fathers put together"

He immediately blocked me. Would not answer my call, his roommate, as a group member called me back apologizing, the message was for him. [confidentially there] Why are you answering his phone?

So he responds to me on the roommates FB message. Says I broke group confidentiality and he won't say anything to the other facilitators, because he doesn't want to start a fued like 2 yrs ago with 2 other people.

Well. First I apologized. Waited 1 hour. Then I replied again saying that I was a good supporting person and that my post was not malicious and in no way compares to the previous event. I am a volunteer trying, no a train therapist.

I journaled over this 3 times. At first I wanted to just quit the whole mess. But I won't.

If nothing else, this has taught me NOT to friendly with anyone from group on any level outside of this group. Keep it at aquaintance only.

So HW family. I was wrong on some level. How wrong was I and should I leave the group in January when the other facilitator returns from foot operation.?
