Yes, I know what you mean about possibly needing some help with this in the future.
There comes a time when you need some time off. As a manic-depressive, I can't go halfway with something, I have to blow it out the stacks.
Then that wears me down. So let me know when you need a break. You gave me one a couple of times.
Oh, and if this column gets to us, what do you think the moderators go through doing this every day. Karen, Trina, UA, Scaredy Cat and Hibee.
Joyce, can you imagine? We know now a little bit of what they go through because we go through a small portion of it for awhile, and it gets to us.
I never thought about it much till I did this column a few days. It about drove me up the wall. The second morning I was to post the column, I woke up at 6 a.m., about five hours sleep. I was unnerved just over the prospect of that.
I knew it was going to be an occasional chest pain, a couple of naps, kind of day. Whether my dog got a walk was going to be touch and go.
I think the moderators have to be able to keep it together, those without nerves of steel need not apply. I don't if you or I could cut it, none of this day's off stuff. You just gut it out.
So we should let them know that we appreciate them.
Also, found of HealingWell.com., Peter Waite, needs some recognition for having kept this going for as long as he has. Do any of the moderators know how long that's been.
I wouldn't be getting any sleep if I tried to run the place.
Any contributions to this site would be helpful I would think. A site this elaborate doesn't come cheap I would think. I know it's helped a lot of people, including myself.
Thanks to everybody, including you, Joyce.
Let me know when you need a break, Joyce. Thanks for letting me work with it for some time.
