I remarked to your last post on Blue. However I want to say it here also to be sure you see it.

You are an important and supportive part of this community. Not everyone will connect with you. They certainly do not with me!

But like speakers, pastors, etc..that is why there is a 'community'
to support each other. I can be upsetting I know, but have no doubt you are a well respected and loved warrior here at HW.

That's pretty exciting stuff. I love those showbiz types. That's something I can't do, but I love to watch those who can.

Did she have a pretty big part in the Hallmark movie? If you know the name of it, and what part she plays, I might even try to watch it.

I love watching those Christmas Hallmark movies and noticing how big of a production they are. They must make them in the summer.
Hallmark made about 20 new ones for this year, I read.

It is a huge business, again, which started to air this year on Oct. 28, if you can imagine, with straight Christmas movies every night on the Hallmark Channel.

Anyway, the rather large earthquake was in the South Island, a bit north of Christchurch. The city of Christchurch (about 340,000 people) was without water for several days after the quake last Tuesday. At the neuro 8am today. No new meds. Off 4. Pain has been about 40% better. He wants me to see how it goes for 3 mos with MEDITATION AND MINDFULNESS. He was reaching for the information when he heard me say I already do that. He actually qizzed me a little. First smile I have seen on him...

He said my eye pain and next pain is definately related to my migraines. FIRST neuro to admit that!

He wants my body to flush out some of the chemicals that has built up over the years and see if nature does any work.

At 11am today I am facilitating group. Tomorrow night there is group and the first facilitators group I have been to in 6mos.
I think I will propose a raffle for Valentines day. I will donate a $25 gift card and see if anyone else will chip in for a basket. We could increase the bank account alot this way.

Well all the news for now. Well good news anyway. Don't want to talk about the bad. Nothing I can do about it.

Trina, thank you for your concern but, I am not upset. I come here, looking for solutions, not just understanding. I realize others are different. One persons' idea of being helpful may not be the same as another. Naturally, when someone says they are having a hard time finding work, the response is generally ideas of how to find work. When someone says they are suffering 'empty nest syndrome' I cannot be of help as my nest is far from empty. Whatever. I've had days where I just want someone to know that I'm crying. Nothing more, nothing less. My only regret is that this person took offense when that was not my intent. I don't come here to make someone's life worse.

They made like 20 new one hour shows for this year.

PET LOVER'S SPECIAL

Dexter's full name is Military Working Dog Dexter CO67, but he is now retired after service in Afghanistan. Dexter served for six years, during which time he detected a garbage truck filled with explosives and saved at least a thousand military personnel and civilians. After his tour, he was scheduled to be euthanized because of hip problems and the fact that military dogs are hard to place for adoption because of their aggressiveness.

His handler, Kathleen Ellison, went to work to save Dexter through the organization Military Working Dog Adoptions. Veteran Danny Scheurer, who worked with dogs during his military service, agreed to adopt Dexter and bring him home to Spring Grove, Illinois. Dexter also became the first canine member of the American Legion when he was accepted as a full member by Fox Lake American Legion Post 703

She thanked “Pitmom, Joan, Trina, Jamie and Tim Tam,” and then noted at the end:

“I hope everybody is doing well today. My day not so good. Had the headache behind the eye again most of the day. I feel a bit better now but the day is mostly over. I slept a good bit and I think that helped.”

Even on her sick bed, she thanked these people.

Karen, there is no way this tribute could even begin to show the appreciation that I and many others have for you and your contributions to this section of Healingwell, but it’s a start.

For keeping this group together, for your undying loyalty to each and every member of this group, for your persistence in helping new comers to this section, I would like to proclaim Karen as “Queen For A Day!”

I am recommending plenty of bed rest, no arduous tasks, plenty of your favorite reading materials, TV clicker at your disposal, your favorite music, and am wondering if your husband can handle kitchen duties for supper tonight while you relax in bed, or ordering delivery, and breakfast in bed for this weekend, a temple and foot massage, a heating pad for what ails you.

our mods are the best. karen, and trina. and those thay t pop in as well. ua, lynwood, etc. sc and hibee over on anxiety do an awesome job as well. as they all do.

No I don't Myself. It lasted most of the day. I don't usually get them that often. When I use to get them more, I didn't get the headache, just the visual difficulties. But I have had two in the last month.. Do you suggest over the counter or prescription?

We are uncertain of the future. But what can we do? Other than take it one day at a time. It is out of our control. The thing that really worries me is climate change. Man has pretty much messed up the earth. It needs to be corrected. But there are people that don't want to admit it. We'll see. I guess we just do the best that we can. That is all we can do.

I hope you feel better Myself. Try not to worry. Focus on the now.

I take it you have a mild prescription, Lynn, which is good. If I broke my glasses, I would be stuck. Severely myopic--though I have back-ups. My prescription hasn't really changed much in 30 years, except a bifocal has been added. I am pretty hard on glasses--so I understand. Checkout this site (zenni.com) They have great prices AND are good for a back-up pair. I wish my vision insurance was better.

Karen--It is a prescription called sumatriptan. I get migraines with hormone fluctuations and with colon inflammation. I use it only once in a while, but I am so very glad I keep it handy.

Tim-Tam--the movie is called A Boyfriend for Christmas. I have never seen it, but she posted on Facebook recently that it is on Hallmark periodically. She did a lot of work, and then took some time off for a family. She is of course gorgeous as well as talented--was in college and is now. We weren't close--but were in the same department.

Chilling out today. Tutoring, drinking water, yada yada yada. Still very anxious. Do not expect to hear anything from the job until early next week. Need to finish up my wreaths.

Good morning everybody. Got to take Jasmine in for a nail trim today. She is naughty in the car, always trying to attack other cars going by. So I have to tie her in the back seat or she will jump to the front. Very nerve wracking. But I will get through it.

That is my venture for today.
