Leelee - I just googled "cymbalta vertigo" and got a bunch of hits. Most are from online medical encyclopedias like rxlist and webmd. But if you try it look for links to other depression forums and threads you will find other people reporting similar experiences.
I have been on Effexor for three months now, never took an A/D before. Side effects started after a week or two then changed after a month. Looking in other forums I found others with the same side effects, which were listed as "rare" on the usual medical websites, but other people said they had it so I didn't worry. Told my doctor so he could document it.
What I read and hear from others is that Cymbalta is a good A/D and is widely used. It is frequently prescribed for those with chronic osteoarthritis or fibromyalgia, and I was given a choice between Effexor which is more of a head drug for PTSD and such, or Cymbalta which is more of a nerve drug, but both are related and very similar... and are very effective. But it does take some time to level off and also to find the right dosage for each individual.
Good luck Leelee.
