Hello All. I realize I've been silent again. I am working two jobs now to try to be able to pay normal bills. I have been tired and anxious. Yesterday I went on a retreat with women from my church. We did a little meditation. I dabbled in this many years ago and would like to try again now. As money is tight, is there anywhere I could get something free from so I can start doing this? Any recommendations? Thanks ahead! Cass

I would get a book on Amazon or somewhere and use that to practice. Their books are sometimes really reasonable. That is how I learned, a book. It really helps with things. I am glad you are going to try.
I think Trina posted something in the resource thread for free help. Not positive.
Hugs, Karen......

I find meditation and mindfulness helps me a lot. I also take medications but I still see the difference. It is kind of a freedom knowing there are things you can do yourself to help yourself. Kind of empowering.

Hi Cassandra,
Good to hear that meditation is working for you! There are many, many websites with great material online, try looking for mindfulness/meditation. Oh, and there are classes on YouTube and even apps you can use in your smartphone. Since there is so much material, you should try as many as possible and see what works for you.
You wish the best,
Renata

Welcome Renata,
Have you visited mindful.org? it is my go to sight.
Also there is a phone app called Insight Timer, I like it the more I use it.
Peace
