Research on Depression and CBT

To whom it may concern,

I am a third year Psychology student currently undertaking a Psychology Research Project and I am studying how individuals experience Cognitive behavioural Therapy as a treatment for depression.

To do this research I am exploring online forums and analysing the posts within the forums. Posts will be selected based on relevance to the research topic and only eligible posts will be analysed and included within the research paper. All of the posts used for research will be given a code to keep the identity of the forum user private.

I will be analysing posts on this forum as part of my research, if you would like any information on the study please feel free to contact myself via email. If you do not wish to have your posts included please email your username to: [email protected] and I will remove your posts from the research.

I have gained permission from Peter Waite to carry out the research.

Ahh excellent, posts being analysed, great point of difference in research, like it. If pros and cons are part of your research you may find the turtles past posts attributable to the latter. HT
