So. My depression and anxiety has been steadily improving since I started to take Lithium as an adjunct to my SSRI. Therefore my doctor and I decided that I get off of my dose of .5mg Risperidone. Problem is I had an awful withdrawal and had to go back on the .5mg. I also made a mistake and misread my prescript
ion bottle and was taking 1mg a day for the 8 days leading up to my cold turkey stop. I made it through the first two days of 0mg but then my depression became unbearable. All I wanted to do was sleep and die. I'm slowly getting out of that rabbit hole but was wondering if anyone else has had trouble getting off this drug?
Thanks!

was the doc weaning you off, say 5mg every other day?
mistakes happen, we all do it. You made it through, shows how strong you are!
