I don't moderate on the anxiety forum but I go there most daily. I am more of a member than a moderator though maybe I come off as a mod from being here for so long. But the forums have been a bit slow so I tend to wander. I check in on the bipolar forum now and again too. But I am glad you came over to post.
I honestly think your wife loves you. I say hurtful things sometimes when I get angry. I always regret it. I don't get angry often, actually very seldom. But when I do I can't control what comes out of my mouth. I try to work on that. Maybe your wife is that way too. That when she gets angry she doesn't know how to say things and says things she doesn't mean. Or gets mean. That is another thing you two could work on in therapy. I have high hopes for that. Being able to say things especially with a therapist monitoring, I think that would be so helpful. Freeing. I hope you get that experience.
Know some people come and go on the forum, though usually it is gradual. But I find people come on more when they need support. And things change in people's lives that takes them away from the forum. Maybe they get a job, or some people don't post when they are down, some don't post when they are up. So I would try not to take that personal. And a lot of times people just pop in from time to time and post.
I have met a lot of wonderful people here though and I hope you get that experience.
