Hi Doggiedo…
The best way to cope right now is to continue to keep your mind busy and try not to think too much about it. It is hard though when you do have risk factors. I think though that you are doing all the right things and I am glad you are able to work from home and hopefully have an income still.
It is so very sad. Especially for older people. My husband just went shopping and was able to get paper towels but no toilet paper. I thought by now people would stop hoarding it. I have some but thought it would be smart to get more. I guess everybody else thought the same.
It is scary. I don't know if things will go back to the same after this is over. Whenever it happens. I heard that even if we get a grip on the situation it could come back in the fall. I don't mean to scare you, but be prepared.
I think taking it one day at a time is best. And I think it is the best we can do. Try not to get ahead of yourself. I am trying everyday. It becomes hard to stay calm sometimes. It is hard not to get angry. But we do the best that we can.
Keep doing what you are doing. I think you are handling things well. If you need to shout or cry, do it. It is only human I think.
Have a good day today. Remember, one day at a time...
Hugs, Karen...
