I do get treatment for the psoriatic spondylitis- it helps but I’m on an immunosuppressant - makes me a little nervous about
going out and interacting with people with the COVID stuff. I’m sore after some stuff and have been dealing with hip bursitis. Had a cortisone injection in March that helped but still bothers me a little.
As for the other- I actually see a counselor who specializes in post partum- She is very helpful. She has helped normalize a lot of my feelings. She says what I’m feeling is very normal and is able to help me “stage” everything. For example when I’m feeling overwhelmed bc I’m running around after her or when it’s impacting my marriage- she’s like yup- it’s about
that time when things start to impact the relationship. Or yea. That’s the time when things typical tend to ramp up with anxiety about
xyz.
I haven’t talked to her lately about
classifying postpartum or anything. I think she’s running it’s just more related to being cooped up and stuff.
I’m just feeling super weepy even tonight. Just watching a stupid show on PBS has me crying, lol. It’s silly to even think about
. I’m just being overly sensitive. I just wish I didn’t feel things so intensively, you know?
I do feel a little better about
my baby and such these past few days/ week. Been getting outside to do some gardening so that’s helped. Seeing a new Marriage counselor with my Husband in two days. I know that will take time. Been feeling distant from him. At night he goes on the computer and I just watch tv after we put the baby to bed. I feel like we are more just companions are this point. Any any rate. I hope this counseling helps.
