A bad experience when shrinking

All smoke. First, there was one woman who kept talking as if I was afraid of commitment (your typical mass science BS). Another wanted to send me to church. Another super horror. Etc.
To me, they seem to be the best fit. They need some illusion to keep them going and they try to force their 'religion' on others.
Society is a crazy house.

Are any of these people professional psychiatrists? That is what you need. Not saying you aren't afraid of commitment. As I don't know you or your current situation.

In my opinion, people with mental health problems don't need to get into religion. That is best after the problems are sorted out if that is what they choose.

I think a professional psychiatrist and a therapist are the best way to go. Don't settle. Don't give up looking. You will find what is the right fit for you.

Not sure of your question.

Either connecting this people. Or not seeing the truth you and them hiding it.

None of us here are clinical. So we can only give advise and examples from our own experience.

It helps if anxiety is lowered. Confidence naturally will increase to variable degrees per person.

Seeing a therapist or you GP about some of your feelings, could find out why the glues are around.
