i know that their is nudity in movies but it really bothers me !!!! To go to a movie sit there with my fience and then all the sudden their is some girl flawnting her boobs and butt on the screen, it is so rediculous. It makes me sick because i know men look and like naked women. It bothers me to think that he might be thinking of her later instead of me. He tells me he doesnt that he doesnt look at other women like that since we got together but it is sooooo hard to beleive. We fight over it all the time my relationship is in trouble because of how much this bothers me. Please help and help save my relationship!!!!

Hi pleasehelpme18, Welcome to Healing Well forum. It is interesting that you posted this as I used to have a problem with this myself. It wasn't so much with my guy looking at it but with myself wishing that I could look like the girls on TV or the movies do and that my guy would want to be with them more than me. The thing is that I realized that the guy I was with was with me because he liked me....as I am sure that your boyfriend does you. Most men will tell you that one of the most attractive things about a women is confidence....confidence in yourself, confidence in your relationship.
Now, I am not saying that I totally grew this self confidence because I didn't, I had to work on it. My ex-husband would tell me I was fat when I weighted 110 pounds, I weight 10 pounds more now. He would watch TV and say "Oh I would do her" or "there's my girlfriend" and point out nudity, like a jerk and other choice names I can think of and have called him.
It sounds like you have an excellent boyfriend who is being totally appropriate behaving. Maybe if these type of movies do bother you this much, since they put warning labels on them you can look before hand and pick a movie that wont have this type of content to avoid conflict. I am sure that some of our other members will respond to your post also have have some suggestions for you...hopefully better than mine...take care.

I know exactly how you feel. I had and still have this problem myself. I am a jealous person with a huge fear of rejection. In saying that, I know that men prefer the flesh and blood in front of them, not a picture they can't touch. Your boyfriend sounds respectful. Believe him when he says he wants and thinks about you. Reverse it for a second. Does your boyfriend have any flaws? Yup. Do you still love him and think about him? Yup. Works the other way too.

Ok
I have never been a jealous person. I could have cared less if my ex-husband looked at another gal.
But,now that I have found my current boyfriend I have found the jealous demons trying to knock on my door and it drives me crazy!!!
Remember this,he is with you for a reason,he proposed to YOU,meaning he loves you and wants to spend the rest of his life with YOU,not the gals on tv.
The only gripe I have about the nudity on tv is that I want to look like those gals,so I end up freaking out about my pouch and trying to kill myself excercising!
