Approximately 3 weeks ago my doctor put me on FMLA which was approved by my work for 6 months for major depression.  After callling off under FMLA yesterday my supervisor today told me i MUST bring in a doctors note everytime i call off under FMLA.  Is this allowed?

FMLA is Family Medical Leave Act in the United States...and yes they can require you to bring in a physicians note for everytime you call in (but they have to stay within their policy, i.e; if it is required for doc note for absent more then 3 days in a row)...even though your doctor has signed for it.  Here is a link from the Department of Labor regarding it...

Thats strange. Im on FMLA and all I have to do is call. Maybe its just your employer.
