I hope you win your fight.  I know how expensive this drug is.  Remember they charge by the number of capsules not by the strength of the dose so if you can get by with once a day dosing that would keep the cost down as 30 pills would be cheaper then 60 pills per month.   I just learned that but perhaps you already knew that. :)

Good luck with effexor. I took it for many years and it worked well for me. I was taking 375mg a day. I switched to pristiq. I only take one 100 mg pill of that a day. Much better than the five capsules that I had to take.

Effexor did work well for me. So much so that I thought I was better once and decided to stop it. That was a mistake. I finally realized that the reason I felt better was because of the drug. Your side effects should be better in a week or so. And the medication will reach it full effect in six to eight weeks. But I think you will feel it before then.
