One of the symptoms of low thyroid function is depression. This is why some doctors treat depression with thyroid hormones. Most people that are depressed and suffering form mental disorders have low thyroid function not detected by standard blood test.

I took Paxil for 2 years...or more, and I did noticed that things did get worst...especially after I stopped taking paxil. I was...well am worst off than when I started.
