Neighbours in front of my house

I live near neighbours who leave their children outside playing and shouting in front of my house. I really hate the noise coming into my house and this makes me angry and depressed sometimes. I feel my privacy is being invaded. Our street is not very wide. We also invested in double glazing windows but sometimes they shout so much that it penetrates. The moment I have to leave house i feel scared and often sad. Happy that it's winter but these last 3 years it been frustrating.

Hope summer won't arrive quickly!!

If they're making so much noise report them as they are disturbing the peace.

Sometimes kids will listen to you if you ask them to do something - there were two who were playing ball on my drive , I got fed up when they hit my window so I called out the window and they went away. I didn't have any repecussions for it either.

I hope things settle soon.
