numness

hi everyone for about a year now I have been experiancing numness on the entire left side of my body. nothing in particular triggers it one day i was shopping and it happend along with dizzyness and blurred vision. if i had not been holding on to a cart i would have landed in a heap. my doc's office was close by so i went there by the time i got into see him most of the nemness was gone other then the far right side of my face.he sent me for an MRI the test showed a small dark spot in the right side of my brain just above my ear. after three months the test was repeated there was no change he has assured my that it is nothing to worry about it may have been something that has been there my whole life.however in the past couple of months things have progressed i get what i call spells (numness on left side of body along with blurred vision and dizzyness) several times a day i also have started having them in the middle of the night mostly when i roll over.i also have spastic movements with my left hand and have a hard time controling it when trying to trying to do things with it i am now scedualed for a nerve reduction test and have an appointment with a nurolagist(sp?) has anyone ever had these problems.if so what was the diaognosis.

Hi berakay, Welcome to healing well forum. I agree with stkitt, we cant make a diagnosis for you here but it does sound very much as if your suffering from some sort of neurological problem. Before I was diagnosed with MS I had much of the same symptoms as you have described here. Perhaps you may want to try posting over on that board and see what kind of input you can get from them. They are a great bunch over there.
