(I've moved her post here from the end of another post.)
I been homebound for 3 years now. I can't use my right side for anything that can be depressing. I still cook & clean myself. I have a aide that comes 7 days a week @ 2 hours a day. When I go out people look @ me feeling sorry for me and say u r to young to have a stroke. But little that they know stroke or diabetes don't have any age limit. I just have one wish which is to be able to be myself again with my handicap, feel comfortable around people and don't feel depressed all the time. I really need this forum maybe I can feel better knowing that there is people like me out there.

Sugar,
Let me be the first to welcome you to HealingWell. We are all struggling to understand this disease and how to make our lives work with our limitations and you are an inspiration to all of us. How are your blood sugar readings running? Are you on any diabetes medications? Do you have a food plan? (Aren't I nosey?!?)
Take care and visit often. We enjoy sharing.
