This is a repeat from a year or so ago, so if it looks familiar, you remember correctly! If you have eliminated bread from your diet, these cheese puffs* do well for sandwich bread or croutons. You need
processed cheese slices and freezer paper. I buy the supermarket brand of sliced processed American cheese. Cut a square of freezer paper large enough to hold 2 slices of the processed cheese an inch or two apart. Place the slices on
shiny side of the paper and microwave on high for about
1 minute - maybe more. This is where you have to experiment because microwaves are different. I set mine on 1 min. 29 sec. Let the slices cool and then take them off the paper. They're crunchy and can be used to make a sandwich or cut up into croutons for salad or soups. With my microwave, I can make them slightly softer at 1 min. 20 sec. Also, I re-use the square of freezer paper many times, so you don't have to always use a new one. That's totally up to you.
