adult bedwetting...Help I've never had this in my life

I don't know how long you have had diabetes

If you have any thing like sleep apnea, bradycardia, that can affect you to also it can be a symptom of central nervous system involvement,

Also with diabetes your body is trying to get rid of excess suger through your kidneys.

With diabetes there are so many things that can this problem that only a doctor can tell you for sure.

One thing that may help is to try to keep your BG levels from peaking at night.

The other is wear protection at night.

You are not the only person that has this problem.

Welcome to the Forum, Waterbaby.  I'm sorry you have this sudden problem.  According to an article I found online, it might be related to a form of neuropathy in the bladder, which is why it gave you this unpleasant surprise.  Be sure to discuss it with the doctor.  I know that any neuropathy (if that's what it really is) can respond to tight blood sugar control.  Also, incontinence can be lessened by losing weight if you need to and drinking less liquid in the evening.  Good luck.  Sorry I can't help more.
