This is what strikes me about
what you're eating: too many carbs! No wonder your blood sugar is so high!
Weeabix, pasta, chips, milkshakes, smoothies, sandwiches, KFC and maybe the Lucozade. They're full of carbs which are driving your blood sugar high. If you change these for food with fewer carbs, you'll see an immediate lowering of the blood sugar. I mean
immediate. Eat more vegetables and salad-type food, chicken without the breaded covering, lettuce wraps instead of sandwiches made with bread, fresh fruit with no added sugar, nuts instead of chips. Eliminate high starch (white) food from your list and start eating more natural food and you'll have much lower blood sugar despite the teenager! It has worked for me and I'm sure you'll find it works for you, too!
