cookienut, you really need to keep your blood sugar under control. As Lanie said, these numbers could lead to organ damage and other things. No one wants to take medication but it has become a necessary evil...at least in my life.
I don't know how long you have been posting on this forum but there is a wonderful lady here that ended up having both legs amputated and is going blind from side effects of diabetes. This could happen to anyone that doesn't keep the blood sugar under control. Also, I know I sure woudln't want to be hooked up to a dialysis machine. I think of these things when I want to eat things I shouldn't eat. I'm very careful about monitoring my blood sugar and I sure hope you are too.
I too am glad you are seeing an endo. Hopefully they will run the tests you are interested in. Also, I hope they will help you keep your blood sugar under control. Please take your prescribed medications. If you don't, you could live to regret it.
