You know, I really think you should not test your blood sugar anymore! I think you're feeling unsettled and a little nervous after the episodes from taking the medicine. Gosh, who wouldn't be! But, it seems to me that if you were perfectly fine while exercising
before you started that herbal medicine, then you should be the same now. I don't think there's any reason to worry now if you were fine before. So, yeah, it's a good idea to ease into it. Eat normal meals at normal times (as near normal as possible, that is) and go back to the cardio for, say, 15 minutes one day and if you're feeling ok, then build up to 30 in the following days. I'm not a doctor, just someone dealing with blood sugar problems because I'm insulin resistant. In my case, cardio is important for me in helping to control the blood sugar (in addition to being good for the heart, circulation, etc.).
Just be aware that anyone might experience hypoglycemia if they've skipped meals and are exercising or running around doing errands for awhile.
The fasting blood sugar test is really specifically to see if the person might be diabetic or on the verge.
