Welcome back, Pez. Blurred vision can happen with uncontrolled blood sugar although there may also be other reasons but only a doctor can verify that. Here is a link to your first post back in February and I'm putting it here for you to re-read:
www.healingwell.com/community/default.aspx?f=20&m=3335546&g=3339979#m3339979As I had written, insulin is a fat-building hormone so it's not surprising that there is some weight gain but the key to not gaining too much is balancing what you eat and getting some exercise. If you're eating a lot of carbs, then you need more insulin and more insulin may make you gain weight. I had posted about
food and left the choices for vegetables to you which would be determined by Crohn's. I'm not sure what veggies you can eat safely with Crohn's but I had posted that in order to keep your blood sugar lower that you would need to stay away from carbs, especially high carbs. If you are eating pre-made food, like ready to eat meals from the freezer section, or fast food, then you'd better check those meals for carb content.
What does the endo tell you about
these latest problems? I'm wondering if you need to change doctors.
What about
the pump? You had mentioned that might be a possibility.
