Welcome to the Diabetes Forum. First of all, congratulations on being clean and I hope this continues and that your health improves and remains that way!
I am posting a link to a site that describes pancreatic cancer symptoms but please do not use this to self-diagnose. Many conditions share the same symptoms and only tests and exams that doctors order can say what the problem is.
www.cancer.org/cancer/pancreaticcancer/detailedguide/pancreatic-cancer-signs-and-symptomsA pancreas damaged by any means may lead to blood sugar problems which in turn may or may not lead to diabetes. An endocrinologist is a specialist in the endocrine system (all our glands) and if you think that you need to be evaluated by one, then please make an appointment to see one. I think it would be best to speak to your present doctors first about
your concerns.
Blood sugar tests are easy to do both in any doctor's office or at home. These tests will show if your blood sugar levels are normal or not, but these tests only measure blood sugar and are not a way to diagnose cancer.
Have you had your blood sugar levels tested?
