Tried my 5th blood sugar pill about
5 days ago. The first four all gave me side effects.
For the fifth, he started me off at the lowest mg. Am now on the sixth day and have had no side effects. We're off to a good start here.
My blood sugar numbers have lowered some. So he might increase the mg. in a week or 2, I'm not sure. My new b/s numbers have been about
150, average.
Yesterday morning (fast) my blood sugar reading was 205. I remembered what I had for supper: one big slice of pizza and a portion of left over boxed sliced potatoes, both high in carbs. So it turns out Laney is right about
lower carb meals.
Also, I have known for a while that whenever I exercise during the day, I sleep better at night. I ran across this note from The American Diabetes Association which says it also:
*Lowers blood pressure and cholesterol
*Burns calories and increases energy
*Helps you sleep better
*Reduces symptoms of depression"
