I just started on the 5MG stuff on 5/1/06. I was told to stay on it for 1 month and have a script
in hand for the 10 MG to start on in june. My question may sound stupid but this is the first time injecting myself with anything. The byetta med is clear in color, so the thing to me looked empty from the day I got it lol. Will the pen freeze and stop turning to a dose number when it is actually empty? Don't want to inject myself with air from an empty pen. Like I said this is all new to me so I need to know how to tell for sure when there is no more byetta in the pen?

For goodness sakes, how many of you guys have said you have been using this stuff for a while now, and not one of you can answer this simple but important question?

The thing will freeze and stop injecting when it has just a teeny tiny bit left in the pen!

The byetta readers and posters are often busy, as we all are, so that's why your question didn't get answered right away.... Ya gots to be more patienter with us...
