Ok, maybe someone can comment?

Went to the ER last night due to a Crohns flareup....needed pain control..........

However, I before I went in, I noticed that I could not stand up (or even sit in a chair) without getting light headed, dizzy, nauseous, hot flashy, sweaty................

This was about 6pm and I hadnt eaten all day.........had a cup of coffee in the morning, but that was it.

I figured I was getting dizzy cuz I didnt eat all day.....figured that my blood tests would show a wacky blood sugar or something........but no............everything normal, save for a slightly elevated White Cell count........

I dont get it...........If someone doesnt eat all day, shouldnt your blood sugar be all screwed up?

Diabetics don't have the same metabolic control as a non- diabetic, so there may experience levels outside of normal ranges.

Mama, When your doing your prep for a colonoscopy let your BS run a little high to keep from crashing. Me i just try and maintain a 200 and so for wil dozens of the scopes everything has been ok.
