I'm on the road a lot. I love to eat at Ruby Tuesday's- the salad bar there is superb-and clean.
I also love to eat at the Cheesecake Factory - they will make you an eggwhite omelet with avocado, cheese, mushrooms, and tomatoes that is wonderful- they also give me a side salad made with baby greens and their house garlic vinigarette.
Similarly, I eat at Perkins, Denny's, Bob Evans and IHOP with little difficulty (omelets and salads).
Many chinese buffetts have a salad bar- and if there is a Mongolian barbecue- I pick the freshest veggies and ask for tofu to stir fry with them- then follow with a salad if I'm still hungry.
The only place I had difficulty was at Panera- everyting there was carb+meat based except for the black bean soup (which was tasty- but not enough protein- I had to add a cheese stick).
Ok- now I'm hungry- Oh one more- pbLoco- a peantur butter restaurant at the Mall of America (and other malls) sells flavored peanut butters- they make a low carb wrap that you can customize- it was so good!
