HI!

Been awhile since I last visited.  I had my surgery May 1st and seemed to recover well.  Then I developed a bladder infection which set me back 2 weeks.  Got over that then at 6 weeks after surgery was involved in a major car accident (June).  Recovered from that only to develop an inner ear infection (which doctor says is associated from the accident).  So, he sent me back to bed rest for 2 weeks.  Finally seem to be over everything and doing well, although my sugar is all over the place.  Doctors (both my primary and the surgeon) said that is normal for 3-4 months after major surgery like I had.

Just wanted to pop in and say hello to everyone.

Hi Lanie,

I'm doing much better now. Yes, my sugar is all over the place as low as 40 and as high as 239. My doctor assures me it will get back to more normal in a month or two. I want it back down now--but he says not to push it. He said my body was in hyper mode to recover from the surgery and the accident and that's why my bs is all over the place.

*sigh*

Me too. Add insomnia to the mix and I'm just a mess.
