First of all; to those that still doubt; the low/no carbs regimen works! After only a little over 6 weeks, I'm down 15 pounds and my readings are phenomenal -- consistently 4.5 (81) to 6.2 (110) throughout the day. I'm afraid to start exercising lest I disappear entirely
I don't have an exercise routine set up yet (well, I do golf & go for occasional walks) but am planning to get a treadmill and set aside some daily workout time. My question is when to do it?
As I understand it so far, exercise will use up a lot of glucose, which is a good thing, but if done at the wrong time my liver will start kicking out more (too much). Is this roughly correct?
In my personal case, my readings were highest from after breakfast to after lunch (recently, I've been able to level this out) so it would seem that exercise is warranted in early morning. However, since I wake up at 5AM and mornings are hectic, its not practical. The best time for me would be before supper (8PM) but this is where I achieve my lowest/best readings.
