...to be diabetic and have tested with high-end-of-normal blood sugar?
This is very brief, feel free to ask for elaboration, I went into the hospital 2 weeks ago for severe dehydration because I was thirsty and peeing constantly and had lost a lot of weight (also having diarrhea, the health problems I have are myriad right now) in a short amount of time and feeling crabby/out of sorts. Now I'm feeling sick again--thirsty/peeing a lot, crabby, and though I'm not sure I've lost any more weight I certainly never recovered the weight I lost. I'm also very nauseous a lot of the time, have weirdly dry skin and lips, and am exhausted constantly. Walking up a flight of stairs results in a need for a twenty-minute recovery. Oh, and my hands are shaking like crazy. When I went to the emergency room 2 weeks ago, my blood sugar tested a little high, but normal enough that they ruled out diabetes. Could I have high-end-of-normal blood sugar and still have diabetes? Should I test again? Where can I get a test kit? What do I do with the results?
