My pre-lunch reading is normally around 5.2 -- today, after the coconut bar, it was 8.4
Sorry Lanie. It was too good to be true I guess. I suppose the fibre did work to slow down absorbtion since if I ate a regular, all-chocolate bar, I would expect a much higher reading than 8.4 but even so, still too high to be safe.
Hmmm ... the bar has 2 pieces to it ... I ate both ... I wonder if 1 bar later on in the day might be tolerable?
Incidentally ironic; the bar's name is WISH
