Blood sugar 19.8?

Hi to all,

I did my blood sugar yesterday afternoon and it was 19.8 i had a chippy butty for lunch and a small bun how could it be so high tested later went to 9.2 then tested before bed was 18.6 tested this morning 9.6 any one any ideas am reaaly tired have been in bed three days feeling ill and lathergic full of cold ect arthritis.

Any ideas as what to do next.

19.8? Diligent, that's much too high, as are the other readings. You're not on any diabetes medication? Those readings over a period of time can damage the body organs. What does your doctor say? If you're eating a chippy butty (which I presume is a french fry sandwich?) and a bun for lunch, of course your blood sugar will soar! That's like giving yourself a glucose tolerance test! Good grief! That's one reason you might be tired but there might be other reasons. Please see your doctor.
