Endo Needed In Columbus Ohio?

Hi all... I am brand new to this forum. I have had t1 for 15 years.. and am a health, nutrition and diabetes coach... Just saw a 22 year old boy who was diagnosed with t1 yesterday and today he is flying back to grad school at Ohio State in Columbus, OH... he needs to get settled with an endo and educator. (I live in Princeton, NJ)

Anyone know of someone to recommend or services at the school to support him? Thanks!

I'm not familiar with Columbus, but usually a student health service is a good place to start. They have the teaching medical center there, so specialists should be plentiful. Here is the web site for SHS:

Wondering where you are located? My 22 year old son was dxed with Crohn's this summer and we recently started with a specialist, Dr. Bosworth, at NY Hospital/Cornell in NYC. He is having trouble on the basic antiinflammatories and will most likely have to go on Humara... Are the meds for UC the same as CD?

I'm currently in Tennessee, rosehealth. Many of the meds are the same for UC and Crohn's, but there are some Crohn's meds that aren't used for UC. Humera is used, but off-label because it's not FDA approved for UC.
