Looks like I am going on a loaner pump in the new year to test, Diabetic Nurse Specialist doesn`t understand why my body is having so much trouble accepting the new routine, so we will try the loaner pumps to see how my body reacts to it.

I read somewhere about a new model of the Onetouch Ping and she wants me to wait for that to come out, also she will get me a letter for Airport security I hear there is a hassle with the pumps, that's if the Doctor permits our plan.

A loaner pump!  That's a great idea.  I'm sure it will take some getting used to but I hope it will be able to stabilize your blood sugar.  As far as airports, yes, you have to tell them beforehand that you have an "appliance".  I hope all goes well.

Lanie it is up to the Doctor to agree with this, she better I am getting to the point of total fustration and going back on my old routine of Humiline N & R, Lantus works sometimes and sometimes it doesn't

Oh, it's not approved yet?  Rats.  With the difficulty you're having with control I would think the pump would be the best therapy and you'd have immediate approval.  Have they identified you as a 'brittle diabetic'?
