Ok, well, as far as her blood sugar, the best way to lower her blood sugar is to stop eating so many carbohydrates like the oats and rice. If this is impossible for her to do (I understand it's hard to change habits but this is about health!), she should at least cut them in half. Then, she should eat move vegetables (not root vegetables) and salad food like lettuce, spinach, cucumbers, tomatoes. Some people have good results with supplements like omega 3 and 6 for cholesterol.
