Medication-induced Diabetes

Hi everyone,
I'm a newbie in this forum. I am a student that is currently taking a thesis for my bachelor degree in pharmacy.
I want to do a clinical survey. Is there any of you take some medicine/herbal product and cause a higher blood glucose level/hyperglycemia?
Please let me know what medicine(s) that you take.

I have tried multiple statins and reacted to each. I cannot take them. But several years before I was diagnosed with type II diabetes, I was taking lipitor. During that time period I had two cataracts form and was diagnosed with diabetes. My glucose numbers rose steadily. I believe the statins are far more dangerous than originally thought. I studied research to see if my cataracts might even be related.....I found through medical studies that when the first statins came out, everyone had to have an eye exam every year for cataracts and changes to the eye in addition to the liver enzymes. Because the researchers saw so little problems with the eyes in the general population, they dropped the warning about cataracts and eye problems. Statins may work for some people, but they were not good for me - eye problems and rising glucose.
