Insurance options for type 1 diabetes?

I am looking to get life insurance but have recently been diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. Can anyone help provide me with information on life insurance companies that will provide coverage for someone with type 1 diabetes?

Also, you might have some luck going to an independent insurance agent.  These agents use many different insurance carriers for their clients depending on particular situations.  They 'shop around' all the major insurance companies for the best deals.

Thank you to those people that have contacted me with their recommendations on getting life insurance coverage for a type 1 diabetic.

After conducting a bit of research and contacting a few different life insurers I finally got coverage with a company called Lifebroker, I would recommend them to anyone having trouble obtaining affordable life insurance due to their diabetic condition.

They even have a section that allows you to ask questions on what insurance options are available if you have a medical condition. goo.gl/yzHL7
