Anyone who takes insulin is probably in sticker shock even if they have insurance. Doing some research for low cost insulin or help with co-pays I came across insulin sold only at Wal Mart pharmacies. It is Novolin/Relion and sells for $24.88 per vial.
It is available in N, R-u100 and 70/30 varieties.
I don't know how many people are in the same boat I am in but even with insurance I am paying about $45 a vial for insulin and considering I go through about 2 1/2-3 vials a month this is will be a huge savings.
Thought I would pass it on in case it would help someone.
BTW: This insulin is manufactured by Novo Nordisk which makes Novolog and Novolin insulins.
