Wonder how you folks store your test strips (and control solution) when very hot weather arrives?
My apartment is on the top floor and in the summer it gets very warm in my apartment. I have the airco on in the living room, but I can't leave it on all day.
Does anyone else have same situation and if so where do you put your test strips (and control solution)?
When it gets very hot in my apartment I've been told by my opthamologist that it is okay to put my eye drops in fridge, but I wonder if that would be okay for the the test strips (and control solution) also?
I put my drops in the bottom 'drawer' which is meant for vegetables, etc. and temp is around 50 degrees.
Or would it be okay just to leave the test strips on my desk even though it might reach mid-80s at times (since I am on the top floor).
Most 'things' say store at room temperature, but wonder if that test strips can be stored above 79 degrees and still be good to use.
In the past I've just been leaving them on a shelf in my bedroom.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
