I think you should speak with your doctor before taking any supplements. If you eat fish a couple of times a week and also eat walnuts (and maybe almonds), you would probably get the benefits of these supplements the natural way.
I use flaxseed meal to make muffins and pancakes and also as a part of breading and fillers for other food but I don't take the oil capsules.
