This is from the website nicknamed "BloodSugar101" which I always include in posts to newbies. Using the Search Box, you can find a lot of information on that site and this was found for dawn phenomenon.

It helped me decide on going on and take the metaformin. I start tomorrow on it. Fingers crossed that I can tolerate it.
