As some of you may know my hubby lost his job in July and I've been trying to keep us going with my licensed bakery in our home. It's been a tad scary, especially without that darned medical insurance. Anyway, to make a long story short, I've been purchasing meds online by mailing my prescriptions to some online pharmacies. Yesterday while dashing thru Sam's Club I stopped by the pharmacy window and asked the phamacist about the cost of a med I'd just had filled online at the cheapest American online pharmacy I've been able to find. (360 tabs, 90 day supply was $171.00) He looked the identical med up on his computer and said that amount of meds would be $89.00. I almost fainted... Then I started asking about some of my other meds. All of them were very much cheaper and some were less than half of what I've been paying.

So... that being said, if you don't have prescription coverage don't forget to try some of your local sources for low cost prescripions. I had thought I was being so smart by doing my online search but I learned the hard way that sometimes online isn't best. Just thought I'd share.

Here are some of the results I found.  I used to be in the same situation as you and I used SHARPMEDS.com online. They are a Mexican pharmacy that uses FDA certified labs.  All their stuff comes in factory packaging so it's like the samples you get at the Dr's office.  Anyway, heres a comparison for those that are interested in shopping for price.

Anyway, you get the picture.  Some products you can save tremendously cross border and some not!  I have personally used this website and they are reliable and the meds you get work just like the ones from CVS (the only thing is the shipping can take upwards of 3 weeks). 

I'm not advertising a website but simply giving you the results of what I found when it was pay the rent or pay for my meds time for me!

Thanks for the info, Warren. I understand that you aren't advertising the website. It's just where you get your meds. I'll have to give their site a look-see.
