The berberine seems to really be working. So far I've gotten my starting
numbers from 180-250 down to 110 this morning (lower than on their med) and my afternoon number
are now below 200's where they would kick as high as 300+. Has anyone else out there reacted badly
to most meds or have tried the berberine??
Thanks Nana Monster!
I have been using berberine for months now and it really does seem to work. Just one capsule a day and after one week my next day's fasting glucose level went from 100-105 to 90-95. But please do be careful. I do not take meds and obviously berberine is a very powerful herb. So consult with your doctor in case this might interact with your meds.

Several years ago my regular eye doctor told me that my eye pressure was higher than normal during an eye exam for glasses. I've always worn glasses so I've been tested at least every two years but this time, he told me about the pressure, so I was referred to an ophthalmologist and after tests there, I was told I had glaucoma for which I take eye drops. Glaucoma causes blindness if untreated.
You may try to supplement with bilberry and pycnogenol (pine bark). This article says that the combination helps to stave off glaucoma,
but if you already have glaucoma then it will make conventional glaucoma meds such as lantanoprost much more effective.Even if it doesn't help, I don't think bilberry and pine bark will hurt you, but it may interact with your meds so obviously you must speak with your doctor.
