Victoza and increased heart rate.

I started victoza Tuesday 6/5/2018 as my A1C has gone up despite 1,000mg daily of Metformin.

Ive notice an increase in my heart rate of around 6-10bpm.
I read online it isnt common but isnt unheard of either.

I'm not sure if its because of my stomach upset/nausea due to the medication or not.

Has anyone dealt with this?

I haven't heard of that but I'm not on Victoza. Have you mentioned this to your doctor? You can also ask your pharmacist because they know drugs and their effects probably better than a doctor does. Are you supposed to make sure you eat something when you take it?

My heart rate goes up when my blood sugar drops. I get shaky too.

yep, this will happen, esp as the body gets panicked and either needs insulin badly or carb badly. the highs will increase bp as more pee is produced, and fluid is the regulator of the kidneys. ht.
