Hi, I was wondering if someone could offer a little advice.
When I was taking prednisone a couple of years ago I had problems with my blood sugar levels but when I came off of it everything eventually went back to normal. Now, I have issues with allergies and food intolerances but I think the problem I now have is somehow related to blood sugar levels. I have a home test kit and the last time I checked my blood sugar levels was absolutely fine, which was about three months ago. I did it first thing in the morning before food, and then after, and it was fine.
So, here is the problem.. In the evening when I eat my (healthy dinner) I am usually fine, BUT if I eat something that I shouldn't, like ice cream for example I pass out, this is not like falling asleep gradually, this is passing out. If I eat something an hour after eating my evening meal I nearly always pass out too. Sometimes I come around, and then I can pass out again. Now, I have multiple chemical sensitivity with multiple food intolerances, but even so, I think it is related to sugar somehow.
My question is, when do I need to be testing myself? In the evening before food, and then an hour after food? I dont know, and who do you recommend I would need to see about this problem as I am tired of passing out and need some help with getting to the bottom of it. I am histamine intolerant, but I do follow a histamine free diet.
Thanks
